Include Airport In City Transit Debate

Regarding the ongoing mass transit debate that Madisonians are engaged in, none of the plans include 24/7 access to the Dane County Regional Airport.

Frankly, I don't care whether we have trolleys, streetcars or light rail service, but I am sure tired of spending $35 on a cab ride home. With a few airlines, that much will take you nearly half way across the nation. The Metro Transit bus route 24 is far too infrequent and poorly advertised at the airport.

Whatever mass transit solution we end up with, if it fails to serve the airport, it is doomed to failure.
