APPLETON -- After 15 years as general manager, Chuck Kamp is leaving the Valley Transit bus system to run Madison Metro's Transit System. "We are saddened to lose such a valuable member of our management team but recognize that this new opportunity provides Chuck with greater responsibilities and challenges to further continue his career within the transit industry," Mayor Tim Hanna said in statement Wednesday. "We wish him the best in his future endeavors." Kamp's resignation is effective Oct. 13. Valley Transit serves Appleton, Buchanan, Grand Chute, Kaukauna, Kimberly, Little Chute, the city and town of Menasha and Neenah. Back to Articles |
