Giant advertisements on buses have gone too far

Wisconsin State Journal
August 10, 2012

I object to the usage of Madison city buses for advertisements to the extent I saw Friday. A rolling beer can went by my house, a bus so covered with beer advertisements that no portion of the bus itself could be seen.

I will not ride in a beer can. If they want to advertise, let them rent a billboard and let buses look like buses.

Let children ride on buses and not climb aboard a beer wagon. And if people are riding buses because they've lost their license to drive because they drank, show a little respect for their best intentions.

Stop degrading public transportation and the public it transports.
